Make Waves IWK 2014

Don’t forget, that for every $100 in fundraising, your boat will get a 1 point increase in your PHRF rating.  The more you raise, the earlier you start the race!

Stay tuned for more fundraising recognition plans.

Fundraising for 2015 is off to a bang. Over 25 boats have already registered.

Our top three with 7 weeks to go are:

Chaos:  $1,025

Towmater & Sally: $1,000

Milagros: $120

Save the date – Make Waves for the IWK 2015 is taking place on Saturday, September 26!

And, thanks to your support and feedback the event will be even bigger than last year and the community day will be returning to Bedford.

Thanks to everyone who donated to Make Waves 2014 a grand total of $30,121.41 was raised for the IWK Foundation!

Your continued support is greatly appreciated. We’ll be unveiling plans for 2015 in the coming months, so check back often and we hope you’ll plan to Make Waves for the IWK with us again next year.

The top three regional fundraisers are sailing crisply along. Donations from our generous supporters currently stands at $18,825 and counting!  In addition to our top three fundraisers, congratulations also go out to Cheap Thrill, Panther, Towmater & Sally and Shine Time for exceeding their fundraising goal.  Well done to all.

The top fundraiser across the region will be awarded a beautiful perpetual trophy from Nova Scotian Crystal, compliments of Bedford Councillor Tim Outhit’s office.  The trophy is a tribute to the joy that Evan Liheng Servaes brought to us during his short life and equally in honour of the good works provided by the  IWK.
